Yes, I totally …
Yes, I totally agree with you. You can’t just go to any dermatologist. You must pick one with extensive experience in sucessfully using a lazer. Often you can look for message boards where doctors are rated and patients discuss their experiences with specific doctors. This is a big help too.
thank u very much
thank u very much
I have treated …
I have treated clients who have been burnt by dermatologists. i think what someone needs to look for is someone with LASER EXPERIENCE. Sometimes dermatologists do so many other things that Laser hair removal is not their focus. This means that their experience with the machine is limited!
Are you looking for …
Are you looking for somewhere in Sydney? If so, i recommend looking for a place the have the GentleLase machine – and a place that don’t shave the area before a treatment. I know of once clinic called the LaserDerm Clinic in Canterbury, Sydney. They’re honest and will let you know what you’re in for from the start.
i planning on get …

i’m getting facial hair treatments at an american laser facility and they’re always rotating nurses is that ok or should i be worried? also i had a treatment 3 days ago and now i have some small but nasty burns on my face and neck.
I had laser hair …
I had laser hair removal and it worked very well, but I went to a board certified dermatologist. Even then I was informed that there were risks. Don’t ever go to anyone but a dermatologist. Only a doctor could do this procedure properly.
What you’re looking …
What you’re looking for is a CO2 laser. Those can easily blast wood and sheet metal. They’re also known as skin fragmentation resurfacing lasers. It’s the same laser device.
Track one down and have fun.
actually i’ve been …
actually i’ve been a laser therapist for 4 years and i’ve seen alot. I’m just telling the truth!
or you might have …
or you might have been one of the few who it didn’t.
In Australia, we …
In Australia, we can’t get decent certification. The “certification” that is offered is by the company who sells the machines…and let me tell you – they’d rather teach you in a way that would sell more products than actually what’s safer for the client.
no it’s not…you …
no it’s not…you just might have been one of the lucky few who it worked for.
no its doesnt heart …
no its doesnt heart on face at all but yah on bikini area it hurts..but it doesnt heart that much…
-Make sure whomever …
-Make sure whomever is working on you is properly certified. If your going to place that has different people working on you every time you have a treatment. Find another place.
-Stay out of the sun.
-Action88 – The skin should look and feel like a light sun burn after a treatment. Lasting 1-3 days.
You said …
You said inexperienced technicians? Well that’s why people should go to their doctor first to avoid that risk as much as possible. The doctor can see if it’s safe and point out a good technician who knows what they’re doing.
As a former …
As a former technician of AlC (worked there for 1&1/2 yrs), I can say the statement of “20 adverse reactions in 75,000 treatments” is a gross underestimation. We had many pts experience hyerpigmentation, hypopigmentation (which is almost impossible to treat), and permanent scarring from burns, due to inexperienced technicians that were given 2 days of training and then thrown into performing treatments on pts. ALC has only included lawsuits that pts. have filed against them in those statistics.
Was it painful? …
Was it painful? Were there any scars? How was your skin right after the treatment? Was it sore or swollen? Thanks in advance for helping someone who is considering doing it!
Was it painful? …
Was it painful? How was your skin right after the treatment? i am considering it and would like advice from someone who has done it. Thanks
I had a course of …
I had a course of six treatments by ALC just like the lady in the video. They mostly worked but they did not work like a Miracle.
Before the treatments I had to shave at least every other day. Now I can not shave for over a week and not have any hair worth shaving.
When I ask my mother and sister if my face looks ok and try to point out what hair I see by looking really close in the mirror they say they see nothing. Hair on a womans face is such a big deal in our heads we see it more.

No, you wouldn’t …
No, you wouldn’t have. Laser hair removal is the most effective type of hair removal. You just have to make sure you go to someone who’s qualified to work the machines. only 20 in 75,000 ppl experience adverse reactions, weren’t you watching?
