The Secret Behind the Secret

I understand that to be a "True" secreat society you would still be a secret but, historicly speaking who is it. I have found that almost all secret societies are some how tied to the "masons" The Knights templar are suposed to be the forefathers to the masons. There are even ties to Tamar and the priory of sion. What's the truth?
If anyone says "Fight Club" I'm going to hurt you.

The Masonic Order actually predates the Knights Templar, at least in their history or pseudo-history, by about two thousand years … so they would have to be the first. Did you know Dan Brown's next book is on the Masons and on Washington DC and the US Government? I can't wait for it to come out.

My auntie makes gorgeous cakes all the time. she womt tell me her secret recipe though! My cakes are always dry and hard to swallow where as hers are nice and light and moist. What is the secret?

Look at all these answers…most from guys! Does my heart proud. You go, guys!

There are lots of reasons your cakes turn out dry. You may be baking them too long, or in too high of an oven temperature. 325 is the key temperature. If your oven seems funky, buy an oven thermometer ($3-4) and check it out.

Try incorporating some more air into your cake batter, but not too much or your cakes will be "domed".

You might want to try to add one box of instant pudding to your mix along with one egg in addition to your regular ingredients…nothing more. It makes a lot moister cake.

Another hint…and this really works…cut a piece of foil two inches longer than the circumference of your pans. Take paper toweling the same length, wet it thoroughly with cold water, and wrap the foil around the wet paper towels to make it 2 inches wide. Attach the whole gizmo around the outside of your cake pans and bake as usual. This keeps the outsides of your cake from getting brown, crispy or just overdone. Plus, it helps keep your cakes level and not "domed". You can buy these strips, called Bake Right strips at several stores.

I saw the dvd and pretty much believe in the ideas. Its similar to What the Bleep Do We Know, but WTB has a more scientific approach where The Secret is mostly narrated by authors and inspirational speakers. If so many great men in history have known about this secret, what are some documented references or examples to back up "The Secret"s claim?

There are none. It's total crap, just like the 2nd half of WTB.

WTB's review of science was fairly accurate, but it's applications were way off base. One of the presenters believes she can channel a 30,000 year old warrior named Ramtha, btw. Just thought you should know.

We all see ads and get the bogus emails touting a need for secret shoppers and secret diners. It always turns out that there is a catch. You have to purchase a list of sites or supply too much personal information. I know we have secret shoppers in our store all the time but I don't know how they get their job. I'd love to do that on the side or at the very least be a secret diner for restuarants. Please help.
