i am so confused i hear a bunch of people saying if you buy the disk you can just make an account and play on the disk
but i want the real answer if any of you play wow if you buy the disk can you play wow without paying!
You have to purchase a CD key to make an account. Whether you choose to buy the actual game in a box at the store, or whether you choose to download it online, you still need the CD key. (Buying the game gives you an instruction manual and also makes install time a lot faster, but Blizzard offers the game download free.)
No, you can't play for free. It's $0.50 a day.
