I really like this girl but, WoW is a pretty big part of my life. I dont see myself quitting because its just too much fun! Should I tell her about my passion or should I hide it, will this ruin the relationship? I am not a nerd or anything, I just like video games, especially World of Warcraft, but it is very time consuming, and others think i am obssessed or something!
Spend time with the lass and tell her im sure she won't mind just don't play it when she can see you.

um life is about balance and if your girlfriend and WoW are big parts of your life split your time between both. and no she shouldnt judge you for your interests… and if she does than shes not worth it.

You have to tell her now. If its such a big part of your life you can't keep that from her. If you did hide it from her and she found which she would, she could never trust you. If you do tell her and she's not ok with it, than she's obviously not the girl for you. If she accepts it than, well there you go, all is well. good luck! If you don't want to tell her right away let her get to know you as a person and see how great you are first.

A woman - cool woman - will think it is hot! She is dating you so will love you whatever you do. It's not as if you are killing foxes or an alcoholic or do drugs - I think it is sweet and I promise you she will be ok - and if she is not than she is not right for you.

well you should ask her what games she plays and if she says World of War-craft then you could just say something like no way i play that too. But if she doesn't say War of War-craft then don't mention it because that sounds like a game nerds play. no offense!!!!!!!!!

some women are different i would give it a little time so they see you and get to know you, then you try to talk her into playing with key phrases like "this is something i enjoy and id like to play with you" or "this is something we can do together" hell the last one is what worked on me lol and ive been playing since and it doesnt sound like a nerd game like some on here are saying, and its not an obsession, trust me, just an addiction lol good luck and if she doesnt then damn the girl has no sense of fun

Get her to play with you! My best friend bought it for me for Christmas a few years ago and it's awesome. When we don't get a chance to hang out, we raid and whatever together =)

Man, WoW is just a video game. Should you have to tell her that you also play Fable 2 on Xbox? Fallout 3? No. Let her find out on her own, if you flat come out and tell her you play WoW, it'll probably hint that you have an addiction or something.

Get her interested in the game and play it with her. Back when my addiction to computers began in the early 1990's, my boyfriend decided that if he couldn't beat it he'd join it.

Yes, definately, she must accept you for who you are and nothing else. Lying or hiding things about yourself are two of the worst things you can do in a relationship bud. Plus you will know if she really likes you for who you are. ^_^

this is what you say.
do you play video games.
if she says yes, you say" ok what are you intrested in"? and you take it from there.
if she says no, say"ok I just want to say I play video games somtimes".
now obviously she'd want to talk to you about stuff, but if she says no and you say what I told you to, that's it. Say nothing else and talk about other things. No offence but girls don't want to know about your level 74 orc warrior(I don't have wow just an excample). But for some reason if she wants to know what you play just tell her, violence games. If she asks what kind of violence games, say wow I guess but DO NOT GO INTO THAT TRUST ME!!! Unless she plays it too.

Because now my girlfriend and I play video games whenever we see each other, my gf lives in a different town than me so I only see her so often(once or twice a year, so it kinda sucks).

I recommend that you mention it in passing after she’s gotten to know you for a few weeks.
This way she already has gotten to know you, and will have a stronger positive bias for you, making things easier for you if, by chance, she has already heard of the game and doesn’t like it.
If you tell her right off the bat, and you mention it like you are confessing some sort of crime, she may think you’re a little weird, even if she’s never heard of the game before.
You can have a good social life and play WoW at the same time. Though you may need to make tiny sacrifices in both (compromise) to make it work right.
