I've been trying to download all the patches for world of warcraft and it's been taking forever how long should it all take?
One time I ended up uninstalled WoW because I had to reformat my computer (Because it was running slow and there were games my brother installed that I needed a CD to take off. And he lost the CDs)
So I had to go back and reinstall. After I got all the expansions on, the patches too quite awhile. I started the patching about 8 at night and I went to bed and woke up and they were done. So generally it depends on how fast your computer and internet connection is. So it takes a couple hours. Just be patient.
If its just a normal "patch day" it may say that your firewall is blocking it or that there is an error and it will give you a costumer service website.
I hope this helps!

the patches in world of warcraft all depend on what is correcting or fixing. someimte the patches could be use to 2 or 3 gigs. this means make sure that your computer has enough room to hold the patches. hope this helps =]

Hello there mate,
I have lots of experience in wow and here's my tips!
World of warcraft is a very large game and requires a good internet connection, Ram,Procesor and you need to wait a long time with most computers, Your computer will take around 4-8 hours if it runs smoothly, if it runs more, give it an extra hour or two,
And by the way! If it says it's behind a Firewall Don't stop you'r installation, It will still run but may add some time
Regards
Sam
P.S If you need any help ask!

World of Warcraft Classic: 4 hours.
World of warcraft burning crusade: 3 hours.
World of warcraft wrath of the lich king: All ready did the patches when in the game [[playing already]]
But with a new account… then like 3 hours or so.
All together: You better have all the time on your hands that day, because it's going ot take up to about 8 hours.
