I'm wanting to buy world of warcraft and try it out for the first time. I know you gotta pay to play. I dont want a game for beginners just want the best one that most people play.
You should download the 10 day trial on the website and choose for yourself.

Well there is only one WoW.
But it has expansions.
I recommend buying all the expansions if your going to play it.
So just grab the battle chest along with the frozen throne and you should be good to go.

um i belive that its just one game but the other crap are expansions sooooooo yeah there isnt any different WoW just diff expansions….

Theres only one that you can play. the original, once you advance far enough you can get the 2nd one, and when you get even farther you can buy the latest expansion. And WoW is the game that most people play.

You can download and try the trials first before you buy the game, its the game , world of warcraft and then the two expansions, You cant just buy the expansions with out the initial game of world of warcraft.

Yeah there's only one actual game, but, like everyone else said, there are expansions that come with it. Imo, after trying the 10-day trial (which sucks) get the original game so you can level to 60. If you decide that you are enjoying the game, and you know that you will continue, get the 2nd expansion (Burning Crusade) and also the latest expansion (Wrath of the Lich King).
